ATP 780 (Jericho) comprises 1650 sub-blocks (5193 sq km), situated in the centre of the Galilee Basin. Targeting coal bed methane, holes within and proximal to the lease contain up to 34m of coal within the Bandanna Formation and the Aramac Coal Measures. Resolve will earn the rights to 90% of all coal bed methane following posting of a contingent resource, with a provision to raise this holding to 100% on development, with the payment of a royalty to Apiti Oil and Gas Exploration Ltd, the current holder. Resolve also retains a 48% share in all conventional oil and gas discoveries within the lease. The lease infrastructure is excellent, with 2 rail lines, and sealed roads over substantial portions of the block. Access to southern markets may be substantially provided by the Barcaldine gas pipeline, which transects the lease in it’s western quadrant. Resolve has determined an exploration target of 8 TCF’s (trillion standard cubic feet) of gas within the northern section of the lease, with the possibility to establish a larger resource base following exploration.
